We are now looking for the next great addition to our team as a Product Design Director.

The Product Design Director at Igniter Ads focuses on innovative and usable design solutions that address our customer needs and desires, while meeting our business objectives and technology constraints. The ideal candidate has superlative communications skills and a love for collaboration.

What we like;

• The ability to lead a product design team through all the phases of a design project, from early ideation to detailed execution and shipping;
• Being able to translate design research, strategic market positioning and technical requirements into a specific design direction, including visuals and interactions;
• Experience in building and managing large branded design language systems;
• Exposure to data-driven design and decision making will be considered a plus;
• A strong belief in the value of collaboration;
• 7+ years’ experience with a major web, product development or consulting firm in the digital product and/or service design space.

Day to day:

• Provide creative leadership to a team of designers building solutions for web, mobile apps and emerging platforms;
• Working closely with customer insights and business intelligence to deepen our understanding of our customers, their behaviours and mental models;
• Direct the development and maintenance of branded Design Language Systems;
• Craft presentations and present solutions to diverse functional roles, including peers, stakeholders and investors;
• Ensure the shipment of high quality, consistent consumer experiences by working in close collaboration with our software engineers and product managers;
• Mentor and direct junior designers to deliver high-quality designs;
• At times, participate as an individual contributor in the design process.
